It’s a post-post modern world so in the spirit of post Halloween pre-BLACK CROWN BLACK FRIDAY, here’s recap of the week we just experienced:

SUNDAY

Skateboarding lesson with 2016 Hall of Fame Skateboarder/sports stylist/total disruptor Cindy Whitehead. It’s part of a feature I’m writing about Cindy for an upcoming issue of FULL BLEED. Street Angel skateboard art by the inimitable Jim Rugg, deck by Dusters.

MONDAY

2 hot comics are getting prepped to go to the printer.

EUTHANAUTS #5

When lettering gets proofread by the editor, proofreader, and writer Tini Howard for first round corrections, sometimes Nick Robles’ art looks red cool like this:

HOUSE AMOK #4

Two pages of inks to go for artist Shawn McManus and when this beauty showed up, I felt the teeth on my neck!

TUESDAY

Started working on two ad campaigns, one for now and a more extensive one to debut in early 2019. This design from PUNKS NOT DEAD: TEENAGE KICKS TPB (out now!) by David Barnett and Martin Simmonds inspired the now campaign. Look for a series of strong graphic backgrounds and superb figures in the very near future.

WEDNESDAY

Everyday is Halloween when you’re the band Ministry or if you work in comics! To prove it, here’s a selection of your favorite BC pros in action!

PND writer David Barnett and friend. Glad to see he has one!

EUTHANAUTS and ASSASSINISTAS scribe Tini Howard looking exactly as one would expect on Everyday is Halloween.

Still can’t figure out why I’m drawn to cats since I’m highly allergic to animals but WTH. The proof is in the pictures. L: It me in 1972. R: It might be me in 2018.
