ALL GO-GO CHECKS, ALL THE TIME

We were GUTTED  to hear that St. Mark’s Comics is closing its doors at the end of February.

ST. MARK’S COMICS: FATE OR INSPIRATION?

BLACK CROWN prides itself on creator-owned comics but it also has a very particular, unprecedented element: CANON STREET, a fictional strip found in most major metropolitan areas, or the gray area of your brain, where characters from each respective comic book commingle and corrupt.

On this street, anchored by the BLACK CROWN Pub are various shops and watering holes.

THE BLACK CROWN IMPRINT LAUNCHES IN OCTOBER 2017

There was only one comic book destination for the grand coronation.

Co-creator/artist TESS FOWLER waves to her fans at the KID LOBOTOMY signing at St. Mark’s Comics.

HQ, yours truly, at the KID LOBOTOMY signing, thinking deep thoughts about anything other than editing co-creator/writer PETER MILLIGAN, far right.

Our first anniversary party in October 2018 was a smash hit with free BLACK CROWN shot glasses and succulent swag!

St. Mark’s owner MITCH CUTLER, left, with a thirsty fan.

Free roaches, compliments of KID LOBOTOMY.

The cosplay contest was no contest: AYNSLEY (far right) for the win dressed as HQ.

Best of luck to Mitch and his amazing staff!

If you’re in New York City please stop by ST. MARK’S COMICS for their massive store clearance through the end of the month!

See you back here next week for further adventures in art & alchemy!
